Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Fez – Gateway to Morocco
Your journey begins as soon as you land at Fez Saïss Airport, where our team will greet you and provide a private transfer to your riad in the heart of the Fez medina. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore this UNESCO-listed city and soak in its vibrant atmosphere.

Day 2: Fez – Chefchaouen – Fez
Today, we embark on an excursion to the picturesque town of Chefchaouen, famously known as the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, this charming town captivates visitors with its winding alleyways, blue-washed buildings, and serene ambiance. You’ll have free time to wander its enchanting streets, visit Uta el-Hammam Square, and admire the 14th-century kasbah before we return to Fez for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Fez – Ifrane – Monkey Forest – Midelt
The morning is dedicated to discovering Fez, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you’ll explore its bustling medina, iconic landmarks like the Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the vibrant tanneries.

Later, we set off toward the Middle Atlas Mountains, making a stop in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” for its alpine-style architecture. We then visit the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the playful Barbary macaques, before continuing to Midelt, where we’ll spend the night in a charming riad.

Day 4: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi Dunes
Crossing the Tizi n’Talghemt pass, we descend into a strikingly different landscape—arid plains and palm-filled valleys. We journey along the scenic Ziz Valley and reach Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil-rich terrain. Then, we arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the mesmerizing dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Here, a camel caravan awaits to take you across the golden dunes, guided by local Tuareg nomads. As the sun sets, you’ll reach a luxurious desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under a star-filled sky before settling into your private tent for the night.

Day 5: Erg Chebbi – Nomadic Encounters – Khamlia – Merzouga
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking desert sunrise before riding back to Merzouga. Today’s adventures take us off the beaten path, visiting a nomadic Berber family to gain insight into their traditional way of life.

We then continue to Khamlia, a small village known for its Gnawa music, performed by descendants of African slaves. The rhythmic beats of this UNESCO-recognized heritage will immerse you in a unique cultural experience. After exploring the surrounding landscapes, including remnants of the Paris-Dakar Rally route and abandoned mines, we return to a cozy desert hotel in Merzouga for the night.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades
Leaving the Sahara behind, we visit Rissani, an ancient trading town known for its traditional market and historic kasbahs. Our journey then takes us through lush palm groves and mud-brick villages, leading to the breathtaking Todra Gorges—towering limestone canyons carved by the Todra River.

After enjoying a walk through this dramatic landscape, we continue to Boumalne Dades, a town nestled in the Valley of Roses, where we’ll spend the night in a scenic riad.

Day 7: Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
Driving through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, we reach Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa." Here, we visit the striking Kasbah Taourirt, an architectural gem that once served as a fortress for local rulers.

Our next stop is the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar that has appeared in countless films and TV series, including Game of Thrones. After exploring this well-preserved fortress, we unwind in a traditional riad within the village.

Day 8: Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
We begin our journey toward Marrakech, traversing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m), offering breathtaking panoramic views. As we descend, the scenery transforms from rugged peaks to lush valleys, eventually leading us to the vibrant city of Marrakech.

After checking into a riad in the medina, the rest of the day is yours to explore—perhaps indulging in shopping, a traditional hammam experience, or discovering Marrakech’s lively culinary scene.

Day 9: Exploring Marrakech
A guided tour takes you through Marrakech’s rich history and captivating architecture. Discover the stunning Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, where street performers and market vendors create an electrifying atmosphere.

The afternoon is free for independent exploration—whether visiting the tranquil Majorelle Gardens, browsing artisan souks, or sipping mint tea on a rooftop terrace. Your riad provides a comfortable retreat to relax before your final night in Morocco.

Day 10: Departure from Marrakech
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute shopping or a leisurely breakfast before we provide a private transfer to Marrakech Airport. With unforgettable memories and a heart full of Moroccan hospitality, we bid you farewell and wish you a pleasant journey home.
