2 Days Zagora Desert Tour from Marrakesh , If you've only got a couple of days, and you want to see the desert, then a two day/one night trip to Zagora is a perfect fit. Sit comfortably in our air-conditioned vehicles as we travel through an ever-changing Moroccan landscape -from the plains outside Marrakech leading into the High Atlas Mountains, through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, across the Draa Valley, and finally into the desert on camel back. There are many opportunities to stop and admire the glorious scenery along the way.
Leaving Marrakech you spend the morning travelling through the Atlas mountains and the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Your destination,  near Ouarzazate, is the historical city of Ait Ben Haddou. With much of the city dating from the 17th century this ksar, or fortified city, is a wonder to behold. Behind it's fortified walls rising up the hillside from the valley floor are a collections of homes, some simple, others like small fortresses.  A guided walk  through this UNESCO World Heritage site leads you through it's winding streets up to the hill's summit, pointing out historical points of interest as well as the locations for many Hollywood movies that have been filmed here. From the summit you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Ounila Valley and relax for a short while before returning down.

Day 1 Marrakech to Zagora
Depart from Marrakech at 7h 00 in the morning, by crossing through the High Atlas mountains by way of the Tizi n'Tichka pass at an elevation of 2260 metres. Visit the ksar Ait Ben Haddou and then lunch in Ouarzazate, with time to visit the kasbah there. We will travel through the charming Valley of Draa to reach Zagora. From there it is a 1h 30 minute camel ride to reach the camp where we will arrive in time to admire the sunset. Overnight at the camp, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 2 Zagora to Marrakech
Depart from Zagora to return to Marrakech via Agds, with lunch in Ouarzazate, crossing through Tizi n'Tichka, and back to Marrakech.
