2 Days Tour Toubkal Trekking From Marrakech , You will start the trek along the Mizane Valley. This road passes through the Berber village of Aremd and follows on to the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. Crossing over Mud plains the way will take you up along the Mule tracks and into the high rocky cliffs of Atlas mounatins. Crossing the river, the trek will then arrive at the shrine. Climbing steadily, the trek will take you up into base of Mount Toubkal and to the Toubkal refuge, which will be your resting point for the night. You have to note that some guides mountains choose to use alternative refuges. There are a few choices of refuges, offering different levels of comfort, and of course, different levels of price. On the 1st day the trekking will take approximatly 4 to 5 hours of walking.

Day 1  atlas mountains - Imlil Village
Located in the Toubkal National park, in the High Atlas Mountains, the Toubkal stands at 4,167 Metres (13,671 ft). It is the highest peak in the Atlas mountains and in Morocco. This is a moderate trek, suitable for all walkers of average fitness or above. During the winter months (October to May) the ascent may be icy so a good equipment for trek may be required, it means crampons and ice picks. Naturally, during the winter months, the trek is a little more difficult than in the summer.
departure from Marrakech is at 8h00 am, there is 1hour and half drive to the imlil Village where you will join your guide for your journey across the atlas mountains, it will take 5hours walk to reach the refuge toubkal where you will spend the first night.

Day 2 Toubkal Summit
On the 2nd day you will attempt the Toubkal summit climb by crossing the stream which is located above the Toubkal refuge. Because of the altitude, the trek can be quite challenging in some parts, but the views are the reward for your effort on this trek. Hike in mountains is an incredible thing to do in Morocco! Reaching the Toubkal summit will offer you incredible views all around the region, sometimes as far as the Sahara desert, but at least you will be able to admire the plains of Marrakech and the surrounding High atlas mountains. After spending some time at the Summit,, you will then start the descent and continue the trek in order to coming back to Imlil.
